There are already 2,000 of you following my videos at YouTube channel! That's awesome! To celebrate I made speed-build MOC. It is 2K aka 2000. There are also two characters responsible for this sudden increase of subs in the last few days. Othrug - the protagonist from my latest animation, and Kalais aka person behind the camera. Othrug is coming! Here's a teaser for my new short film. This time, I'm taking you into a fantasy world. The action begins in the orc village of Arganvlagh in the Nugh-Mefg desert. You may know it from my LEGO MOCs. Othrug is an honorable warrior living by ancient traditions. Fate will lead him on a journey through mysterious lands filled with danger. Another animation from the world of dinosaurs. This one stands out for two things. First, it was filmed vertically for YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. Second, the set it features isn't minifigure-scale. Continue reading]]> Sun, 19 Jul 2026 07:32:46 +0200 https://bricks.kalais.net/post163 https://bricks.kalais.net/post163 Lego

Another build from the M:Tron series. This time, a retro-themed spaceship. Assembled from all sorts of oddball parts. The whole idea started with a box from the X-Pod series. As soon as I saw the Privet Drive: Aunt Marge's Visit LEGO set 76451 and the giant Marge Dursley figure, I knew I had to transform her into a portly gentleman! Continue reading]]> Thu, 18 Jun 2026 15:37:26 +0200 https://bricks.kalais.net/post161 https://bricks.kalais.net/post161 Lego

The Orcs are back with a new village! I'm participating in a LEGO/Bricklink contest again, with the prize being the release of as official set. Votes are highly appreciated! Every vote counts! And what have changed since the last version? Continue reading]]> Mon, 11 May 2026 21:04:59 +0200 https://bricks.kalais.net/post160 https://bricks.kalais.net/post160 Lego

This is the quintessential LEGO experience for me. You buy a set (31163). It has instructions for three things – a cat, a pigeon, a dog. And then it turns out you can rebuild it into something completely different. How about a sci-fi landspeeder with a charging station and a rest area? Continue reading]]> Sun, 03 May 2026 09:27:55 +0200 https://bricks.kalais.net/post159 https://bricks.kalais.net/post159 Lego

The second stop motion animation in the Jurassic Park: Chaos Theory series. Produced, as usual, for The LEGO Group, Universal Pictures and Dreamworks. It has 1.8 million solo views on the LEGO YouTube channel and was also part of a compilation with 1.3 million views. The main theme here is LEGO set 76966 Dinosaur Missions: Allosaurus Transport Truck. I've become addicted to building alternative buildings from the LEGO sets. This time I've rebuilt Creator 3in1 castle (Medieval Castle of Mounted Knights 31168) and created an guarded inn with a watchtower. A little MOC. The theme? M:Tron again... a true classic. I used all sorts of unusual parts from Bionicle and Jack Stone. I completely missed these series when I was a kid, and I'm still finding interesting pieces in those. I've been thinking about it for a long time but I've finally made a decision. I'm selling all my LEGO bricks and I am switching to AI (artificial intelligence) building. From now on only computer-generated MOCs will appear here. Continue reading]]> Wed, 01 Apr 2026 08:30:20 +0200 https://bricks.kalais.net/post155 https://bricks.kalais.net/post155 Lego

My next project, using only bricks from two LEGO Creator sets – Haunted Mansion 31167 and Medieval Castle of Mounted Knights 31168. This time, it's the king's manor/castle. Also contains a gate and an undead ship. Continue reading]]> Tue, 31 Mar 2026 14:53:36 +0200 https://bricks.kalais.net/post154 https://bricks.kalais.net/post154 Lego

The monorail is a LEGO classic with a lot of die-hard fans. Mainly thanks to the Space and Town sets from 1987-1994. I think everyone who was a child back then dreamed of such a train during long sessions of leafing through the LEGO catalog. In 2021 a series of LEGO sets called Vidiyo was released. It turned out to be a bit of a flop, but I found it quite interesting due to the specific new parts. One of them immediately caught my eye - the box, which appears in the entire series of mini sets. Continue reading]]> Sun, 15 Mar 2026 20:08:28 +0100
