Lego set 6059 Knight's Stronghold was released in 1990. As a child I was dreaming about it. It was a bit more realistic dream because it was much cheaper then big castles. I always knew parents won't buy me big castle. It was outrageous expansive in post-communist Poland with crazy exchange rates usd/zloty. But there was small hope for smaller and cheaper 6059... Well, in the end, I never get big castle nor 6059. I was so crazy to get those big doors, black castle panels and of course those awesome knights.
When I saw on classic-castle.com forum new contest (build castle set in space or vice-versa) I knew what set I will build. I had sentiment to 6059 but also I wanted build some M:Tron outpost. Have you ever noticed that official M:Trons sets have only vehicles and ships? No base? The time has come to change it :)
The conversion starts. Three Black Knights become three M:Trons. Two Black Falcons becomes two Blacktrons. The horse has transformed into vehicle. Catapult become giant laser cannon. Alright, no need to write all that. You can just check it out on the pictures below. One more thing worth to mention is that I replaced 6059 prison with containers for trans-neon green samples because M:Tron weren't warriors. They were more like explorers. Enjoy!

I like it!!
Damn, that's genius. Although I'd say a magnetic crane on one of the walls would make sense and truly transform this into an M-Tron set instead of it being a random building for a random faction. Great work though, digging the details a lot!
