A small MOC built for a single photo. I'd been wanting to create an atmospheric shot of the Pirate Captain's cabin, full of maps and treasures, for some time. There also had to be a table and a candles.
I also wanted to portray the pirates' adventures more realistically and brutally, hence the Light Nougat heads instead of the standard cheerful yellow ones. And the corpse of the governor, whom the pirates had just taken care of.
I considered adding blood on the floor but the transparent red tiles were too big so I abandoned the idea.
This MOC was built for the LEGO fan community LUGPol competition - "Build a scene using a minifigure - a soldier inspired by the LEGO Pirates series." The whole thing had to fit on a 16x16 studs plate.
It was a cool challenge to fit so many details into such a small space and create an atmospheric shot.
MOC took first place in the competition :)
