M:Tron – the 1990s LEGO series has always been close to my heart. Every now and then I have to build something new for the brave space explorers. This time I made a scientific exploration vehicle.
Hmm, what to write here? I mainly wanted a cool shape and a well-defined body. And I wanted it to be clear what kind of unit it is.
The large radar on the roof helps in exploring and scanning new planetary surfaces.
The antennas on the rear are used to communicate with the M:Tron units and base.
Next to the vehicle, we can see an explorer equipped with an exo-skeleton. Its main function is lifting heavy objects.
P.S. Febrovery is underway! It is a LEGO community challenge where LEGO fans create their own space-themed vehicles throughout February. If you want to see more, or build something of your own, check out the #febrovery tag on Flickr and Instagram.
