Another build from the M:Tron series. This time, a retro-themed spaceship. Assembled from all sorts of oddball parts. The whole idea started with a box from the X-Pod series.

I collected several colors of these boxes. Previously, I used white for the Blacktron X-Pod Mech, and this time I went with red one.

I managed to fit inside two pilots, along with the control sticks and computers, and there's really not much space out there. The pictures don't show this well, so you'll have to take my word for it ;)

I built the sides of the ship from parts used by LEGO for the thighs and shins of large Star Wars figures (26831), and on the back I placed blades from Ninjago mechs (65184). The engine is a large wheel from the Chima and Ninjago vehicles (11094).

Fun fact - for the background I used real space. I edited a bit image from NASA Spitzer Space Telescope of the Orion nebula. It is closest massive star-making factory, 1,450 light-years from Earth. The nebula is close enough to appear to the naked eye as a fuzzy star in the sword of the constellation.
