Arganvlagh - The Orcs village - vote in BDP!

MOC

This orc village has a chance to become an official LEGO set! It needs your vote :) Yes, I'm trying again at the LEGO Bricklink Designer Program competition.

Vote here:
→ Crowd Support voting is now closed.

To vote you need a LEGO/Bricklink account and click the "Love it!" smiley.

What's this competition about?

In short, you have to design a LEGO set, and if the AFOLs who voted in the public vote and the LEGO team like it, it can be released as a limited edition set.

To be eligible for the competition, you had to design a set using only bricks that will be in production in 2027. You also need to create instructions that would have a good building flow. And you had to meet about a million design and construction requirements. The maximum number of bricks is 4,000.

I also invite you to watch the video and renders of the project.

P.S. There's a wall of text about the project itself at the bottom of this page.

We got it! The real orc head is finally here in the BDP9 parts list! Finally Orcs look like orcs! :)

I think this is the best moment to vote for this project! Many parts disappeared from the last round and I had to rebuild or recolor many elements. But it still looks like I see an Orc's world in my head :) I don’t know which bricks the next BDP part list will remove so I don’t know if I will be back for the next round…

I also added some new features. Let's start from the beginning :)

INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the fantasy world full of spells, orcs, knights and mystical creatures. You have reached the mysterious Arganvlagh village in the Nugh-Mefg desert.

Who lives here? Of course mighty greenskin orcs! They are great warriors and hunters. They are led by a shaman, spellcaster, who is in control of a big magic crystal.

In the village there is a portal. Orcs use it to fast travel to the far places. But it is a dangerous device. It can be opened from the other side…

The Black Knights of the Serpent just discovered that and came out from the Portal…

BUILDS
Everything can be rearranged and you can choose how your village will look like.

There are 6 main structures:
- Guarded Cottage
- Shaman Hut
- Watch Tower
- Magic Portal
- Hanging cage
- Orc banner

There are 15 minifigures:
- 7 Orcs
- 6 Knights (including the King)
- 2 Skeletons

There are 18 animals:
- 2 horses
- 1 brick-built creature (mount)
- 13 rats
- 1 bat
- 1 spider

Total parts:
4000

GUARDED COTTAGE
It is a place where Orc warriors can rest. Next to the hut is a small animal farm full of big desert rats. Why rats? Orcs eat them! There are not many other animals in the Nugh-Mefg desert.
- you can open the whole structure
- full detailed interior
- 2 main halls
- prison made of bones and spider’s web
- dual chandelier hanging on chains
- well with water
- guard tower on the top of the building
- space for animals

SHAMAN HUT
It is an old wagon which arrived here many years ago. It was turned into a house.
- includes powerful magic crystal, its magic is so huge that it needs to be held by 4 chains
- the small crystal on the pillar let Shaman control this unknown power
- magic totem included
- includes full interior with bed and shelves with magic potions which can be access via opening spiders web on the back

WATCH TOWER
Very tall wooden construction to spot enemies from very far. There are always Orc guards there.
- height is 19.5 inch / 49,3 cm !
- you can detach the roof and floor to get better access to interior
- defensive abilities with crossbows
- lot of food and water for hungry guards

HANGING CAGE
This small structure has a purpose to scare enemies and show that the village is populated by warriors.

THE ORC BANNER
Very small structure but very important. It shows an Orc symbol. You immediately know who lives here.

THE PORTAL
Magic structure for distance travels. From one side there are monuments showing orc warriors. On the other side there is a stone-work.
- includes a play feature. You can put minifigure in the center and rotate the transparent part which make it “teleport” to the other side

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
I designed a special orc symbol and you can find it on the banner, flags and some shields.

There are tons of all kinds of weapons and shields here. Swords, axes, spears, printed and unprinted shields.

I hope you like this unusual world I created. Please vote for it and let the green Orcs come to the LEGO universe!
