Blacktron II has been featured here many times. This LEGO space series from 1991 won me over and I'm still collecting pieces for it. This time I created a field base out of them.
Blacktron II is characterized by three colors – black, white, and the gorgeous Trans-Neon Green. However, here, for the ground structures, I only used black and TNG. Why, you may ask?
I was inspired to make this choice by the only official Blacktron base – set number 6988. It was available under two names – Alpha Centauri Outpost or Spy Base. There was not much white color in it. I thought it might look cool in my base. Help to create a more modern design. So I used the white color only in the minifigures and the droid.
Below you can watch the video of the encampment being build. At the end there's also a cool presentation of the whole thing with 360-degree shots! I built a special device for this type of shots (not out of bricks this time).
As usual, I'm also posting a few photos:

This is amazing. UFO panels and Blacktron panels mix great together. Great use of relatively older and new parts!
