[MOC] Golden triangle - cantina

Star Wars. A galaxy far, far away. The planet Nar Shaddaa. A cantina called the Golden Triangle. An infamous place that attracts all sorts of smugglers, pilots and gang members. With the bottle of Nog you can arrange the details of the next mission.

There are dancers of all colors and races here. There's something for everyone. The music with a perfect tempo and a pleasant bass makes the perfect chill out atmosphere.

The air smells of burning Marcan herb. You can also find here stronger stimulants like Death Sticks. If something is illegal - no one cares here.

I have something extra - some behind-the-scenes photos. This MOC was built for the Star Wars Eurobricks competition. It didn't win anything but I did win in another category (more on that in a future post - edit: it is here). The challenge was as follows:

Build a Cantina. It can be a wretched hive of scum and villainy or it can be the most posh of clubs. But most of all it should feel like a place where would-be adventures can meet before their next adventure. Decore and setting will be a big part of this category, but don't skimp on the characters either. Your Cantina should feel well frequented. There is no size limit, go as big as you want!

Third-party lights weren't allowed and I really wanted atmospheric lighting. So I decided to just use regular light going through carefully placed holes in the ceiling and transparent bricks in the wall. The only LEDs were classic 2x3 LEGO cubes.

9. LED cubes were inserted through the wall. They illuminated the dancers on stage.

11. The entire thing was placed against a white background, which reflected light onto the model. The ceiling was easily detached.

@Zibique
Thx! I spend some time on those dancers. On the club and photos too ;)
