The Conestoga is my next custom Star Wars creation. It's a spaceship this time, or more precisely, a tanker. It can deliver high-quality fuel anywhere in a Galaxy far, far away... It can avoid the Empire. No questions asked. All you need is the right amount of credits...
It's worth mentioning that the entire ship can rotate. During flight the fuel tank is at the bottom. When the ship lands, the tank rotates to align next to the hull.
I also managed to built-in the movable, extendable landing gear.
I'm also proud to say that the ship took first place in the international Star Wars contest on the largest LEGO forum - Eurobricks. It took first place in the "Asymmetrical Spaceship" category. Contest was celebrating May the 4th (2025).
The exact task was this:
Build a ship that's not symmetrical when it's landed. Examples would be the TIE Bomber, Stinger Mantis, and the Millennium Falcon. It can be any spaceship of any size from a TIE Fighter to a Star Destroyer. Minifigures are allowed. Side builds may accompany your ship but you may use no more than 100 pieces.
An extra note for judging, it can be hard to score points in Storytelling for the ship category. Think about including battle damage or other elements that tell a story as soon as you look at the ship.
