[MOC] Vote for LEGO set - Orc Village - Zginra

The Orcs are back with a new village! I'm participating in a LEGO/Bricklink contest again, with the prize being the release of as official set. Votes are highly appreciated! Every vote counts! And what have changed since the last version?

Vote here:
→ Zginra - The-Orcs-village

To vote, you must have a LEGO/Bricklink account and the click "Love it!" smiley option.

👹 The previous version of the Orc village can be viewed here.

What's this contest all about?

In short, you have to design a LEGO set, and if the AFOLs who voted in the public vote and the LEGO team like it, it can be released as a limited edition set.

To be eligible for the competition, you had to design a set using only bricks that will be in production in 2027. You also need to create instructions that would have a good building flow. And you had to meet about a million design and construction requirements. The maximum number of bricks is 4,000.

Okay, let's back to the changes. First of all, the Orcs moved out of the Nugh-Mefg desert to the green land of Waimeala. The watchtower and hut remained the same, but everything else changed.

A huge gate surrounded by palisades, a small field of crops, a blacksmith's workshop, and a food preparation zone were created. And of course, the layout itself changed significantly. There are no more loose structures in the desert, just a single diorama in the green fields. Of course, it can be easily divided into six segments, so it can be easily moved and/or stored.

If you want to read more, there's a long description of the whole thing at the very bottom of this page. And below you can watch the 360-degree video and images.

Oh, I forgot. I have other entries, so please vote for them as well. Thanks!

INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the fantasy world! The Orcs had left their homeland Arganvlagh village in the Nugh-Mefg desert and they arrived in the new green lands called Waimeala. They’ve built a new village here - Zginra.

Mighty greenskin orcs are great warriors and hunters. They are led by a shaman, spellcaster, who is in control of a big magic crystal.

THE BUILD
Everything is one big diorama.
The base is 96 x 48 studs. 77 x 39 cm or 30.3 x 15,3 inches.
The height is around 50 cm or 19.5 inches.
It can be separated into 6 main structures:
- Guarded Cottage aka Orc Hut
- Watch Tower
- Gate with palisade
- Food zone with well and fireplace
- Magic Crystal + Agriculture zone
- Blacksmith’s workshop

There are 17 minifigures:
- 14 Orcs
- 3 Skeletons

Total parts:
4000

GUARDED COTTAGE (aka Orc Hut)
It is a place where Orc warriors can rest.
- you can open the whole structure
- full detailed interior
- 2 main halls
- prison made of bones and spider’s web
- dual chandelier hanging on chains
- guard tower on the top of the building

WATCH TOWER
Very tall wooden construction to spot enemies from very far. There are always Orc guards there.
- height is 19.5 inch / 49,3 cm !
- you can detach the roof and floor to get better access to interior
- defensive abilities with crossbows
- lot of food and water for hungry guards

THE GATE (and palisades)
Main entry to the Zginra with the huge armored doors. Surrounded by high walls made of wood ended with sharp spikes.

On the top there are two cages with skeletons. Their purpose is to scare enemies and show that the village is populated by warriors.

You can also find a very important banner there. It shows an Orc symbol. You immediately know who lives here.

MAGIC CRYSTAL
It is powerful magic that makes it float. It needs to be held by 4 chains. The shaman can control its unknown powers with the small crystal on the pillar. The Orc witches support him with their spells.

AGRICULTURE ZONE
On the opposite side of the Magic Crystal. It is the place where Orcs grow some vegetables. It is small because Orcs prefer meat...

FOOD ZONE WITH WELL AND FIREPLACE
Well and fireplace with tons of food. Orc feast here!

BLACKSMITH’S WORKSHOP
Here you can find the finest artisan in the village. He makes the best armors, weapons and shields! Find the big chimney and you will find the blacksmith and his black anvil.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
I designed a special orc symbol and you can find it on the banner, flags and some shields.

There are tons of all kinds of weapons and shields here. Swords, axes, spears, crossbows, printed and unprinted shields.

I hope you like this unusual world I created. Please vote for it and let the green Orcs come to the LEGO universe!

P.S. Thx for the support from all over the world! :) I read all your comments and private messages on different social media and I didn’t expect that orcs would be so wanted by the LEGO community :) It is awesome! Thank you!
