[VIDEO] Jurassic World - Excavation - Epic Evolution (3/3)

Last video in the Epic Evolution series where stories are set in a world where dinosaurs and humans coexist. This time I also had to show off the Dinosaur Fossils: T. rex Skull Set (76964). It was a bit of a challenge as this isn't your typical minifigure set.

If you haven't read about the previous films, it's worth checking out here (part 1) and here (part 2).

As always I recommend watching the film first and then reading the rest of the text below.

Watched? Okay, this time I'll try to briefly share a few interesting facts and extensive behind-the-scenes footage will appear in separate posts.

Of course, just like last time, I made the video for Universal Pictures and The LEGO Group. It was posted on the official LEGO YouTube channel and has racked up 1.2 million views so far, so I think it's safe to say it was a success :)

This is the video I needed all the tan bricks for. I ripped them out of the space base. Overall, there are a lot of my previous custom creations here.

In the desert you can spot this tower and as the trucks drive through the winter scenery you can see the modified remains of Imperial Base from Star Wars.

Speaking of MOCs used it's also worth noting that the M:Tron truck (or even two) from the first video with raptors is making a return together with same raptors near the water. This creates some cool little connections between the films.

Finally I've always wanted to do a scene with a sunset in the background and here was the opportunity. I'm very happy with this shot :) It's pretty atmospheric I think.

Oh, and here is the original upload on the LEGO channel:
